Starting at the house you can hike long walks and discover nature and history of the Chianti.

About a precipitous descent into the valley of the chill and crystal clear brook Massellane and further along shady forest paths you pass Moce and finally reach San Sebastiano and La Mandria / Adine. In the heart of the Chianti the medieval village Adine with his five houses and a small, about 1000 year-old, Romanesque church sits picturesquely on a hill.
Taking unpaved roads and agricultural lanes your return comfortably to Casanova di Ricavo.

A very long tour leads from Lecchi to Castello di Ama, Poggio San Polo to San Polo in Rosso.
Here you can see the well-fortified church from the 11th century to whose parochial district also the churches of Adine as well as San Sano belongs.
After a rest one can choose either take the by far longer route through the valley of the river Arbia to San Sano and back to Lecchi or shorten your return by passing again Poggio San Polo and take the strada bianca (unpaved) road to Casanova di Ricavo.

You can also explore more comfortably San Sano and its beautiful surroundings following the "Strada Bianca" to Montebuoni and take an idyllic descent by vineyards down to San Sano.
San Sano is a very well preserved medieval settlement, very typical of the Chianti, it is already mentioned in the 13th century. The seemingly arbitrarily scattered houses are all medieval origin, the stone constructions are to be led back in her basic structure to the Middle Age.
